IBCC 2026 has come to an end, and what an edition it was!
This year’s competition was held in collaboration with Visma, who provided the case, with a case centred on e-conomic, part of the Visma group.. Over three days, teams worked from first briefing to final recommendation. The competition opened with the case launch at Visma’s Copenhagen office, followed by a full day of case solving. It closed at Hotel d’Angleterre, where the finalists presented their solutions to the jury, followed by the award ceremony and an evening of celebration.
The winners
Congratulations to Camila Juhl-Sørensen, Malthe Némery, Isabel Marisol Sebode and Victor Némery, a team of second-year students, on winning IBCC 2026.
But one year’s result never tells the whole story. Last year, the title went to a team of first-year students. Two editions, two winning teams from different years of the programme. It is a clear sign of how strong the level is across the entire IB programme, and why every edition of IBCC remains open until the very last presentation.
A high bar, once again
Throughout the competition, the jury and organising team were impressed by the quality of thinking, collaboration and execution shown by every team. The depth of analysis and the variety of solutions made for an engaging final day, and reflected the ambition and talent within our programme.
Thank you
A sincere thank you to all participating teams for their time and effort, to our case writers for building a challenge worthy of the competition, and to our jury members and speakers for making the final what it was.
A special thanks to Studenter-Sangforeningen, whose performance gave the final a moment none of us will forget.
We are equally grateful to our partners, Visma, BCG, ABG Sundal Collier and Tryg, for making IBCC 2026 possible.
What comes next
IBCC 2026 also marks the end of this year’s organising team cycle. Some of us are heading on exchange, while others are already preparing for next year. We are proud of what was achieved, and grateful to everyone who contributed.
See you at IBCC 2027!
